In these pages that we have read this week, I start to wonder about Estella and Pip and sometimes while reading I laugh at what is going on between them. Pip and Estella have a really uncommon relationship in which Estella likes Pip, but only when Pip is around she never seems to act like it and just ignores him. Miss Havisham though in a way directs who Estella is to love. Pip also feels jealous because of how everyone around chases after Estella and all of the activities that she does in which Pip does not like. Also it is becaus eof all the guys that chase Estella around.
When I found out that the convict in which Pip had helped was going to be the man who teaches him to become a gentleman i was quite surprised. Once in Pips life he used to live a very comfortable and peaceful life. Now he is with Magwitch and is also threatened by her and she also threatens other people around her.
In these pages that we have read Magwitch tells Pip and Herbert a story about his past and also mentions Compeyson who brought Magwitch to be what he is today. Eventually they figure out that Compeyson was the guy who didn;t show up for his wedding with Miss Havisham. Later on Pip decides that he wants to leave forever and leave Estella behind forever too. So he travels to the Satis house and says goodbye to Miss Havisham one last time and to Estella. He tells Estella that he loves her, but she doesn't care because she has already decided to marry Drummle.

Great Expectations pages 176-235
In these pages that we have read in Great Expectations at the beginning Pip travels home hoping to see Estella and apologize to Joe. I think this is greatly needed because of how rude he treated Joe before he left for London. While Pip was on his coach ride home he noticed that he was with the two convicts that were at the pub while he was there too. I myself thought that something would happen between Pip and the convicts, but to my surprise the covicts didn't even notice Pip. Pip then got off at the nearest stop which was still inside city limits. When Pip goes over to the Satis house he realizes that Estella has turned into a fine young lady and that he is starting to love her even more now. The one thing that I find odd though is that Miss Havisham is telliing Pip to keep on loving her, and I think that Pip shouldn't have to be told who to love.
The next Day Orlick is fired from Miss Havisham's place. it all happened after Pip told Jaggers about his past life. Later Pip reutrns to london and isn't in all that good of a mood. The next day Herbert confesses to Pip that he is in love with a woman, but he is too poor to marry her. I myself think that is sad for the reason that you love someone enough to marry them, but you can't becasue you are too poor.
A while later in this reading Estella sends Pip a note that says to meet her at the nearest train station in London. This made me wonder if there was going to be something that happened, something that would change the momentum of the book. After they met Pip thought were on the road to becoming married.
Pip later on finds out that his sister Mrs. Joe is dead. Pip then travels home to attend the funeral. And he is also very upset about the death of his sister. Pip is trying to fix his relationship problems with Biddy, and also says he will come home more often to visit. I wonder to myself if he actually will stick with what he says.
At the end of our reading we learn that Pip has his twenty-first birthday. I had no idea that Pip was this old. Pip is certain the he was sent to London by Miss Havisham. Maybe it is so, but if it is I think that the reasoning for it is so that Estella and Pip can get married. I guess I'll find out later on in my readings.

Great Expectations pages 113-176
In these chapters we find out that Pip is going to London. he visits Miss Havisham one last time before he leaves just to say goodbye and to thank her for what she has done for him. On the other hand I thought he was really rude to the other people he said so long to. Later on Pip regrets being so rude to them and for what he said to them. He is also mean to Joe beforehe leaves which nows he really regrets it. I would regret it too if the person you are mean to has done so much for you in the past.
One thing I wonder about this book is if Mr. Jagers will teach Pip to become a gentlemen and show him what he knows. Also i wonder if Mr. Jagers will show Pip how to become as well known as himself and to be as powerful and to make an impact in London and become well-known.
In London the pale young gentleman shows back up again. You know the one who picked a fight with Pip and Pip knocked him up. Herbert and Pip to me have a different relationship. Herbert is teaching Pip table manners and they both room together. Will their relationship grow in the future or will something tear them apart?

Great Expectations pages 56-113
In our second reading from Great Expectations things are all starting to fall into place and it is all starting to make sense to me and it seems like more things are starting to fall together to connect the puzzle. One of the things that I wondered about in this section was the relationship between Estella and Pip. I wonder what is going on between them because Estella wanted Pip to kiss her on the cheek, but never to speak to anyone about it ever again. I wonder and ask myself if Estella is playing Pip or really does like him. Also will Pip and Estella become a happy couple or are they going to move on and not like each other any more in the future? These are some of the things that I wonder while i'm reading this book, and it makes me think if Pip and Estella will ever be together.
When Pip is out exploring the area around Miss Havisham's house he runs into a pale young gentleman which comes out and confronts him and wants to start a fight with him. The young pale gentleman strikes a few times at Pip and eventually Pip knocks the kid up a few times and then feels bad about it and thinks he will get into trouble later when he gets home.
The part that I am starting to not like about Pip is that he is becoming greedy and selfish and all he wants is money from Miss Havisham and he doesn't work just for her, but for her money.
Is Dicken's going to bring back the pale young gentleman in the future or is he trying to foreshadown something that is going to happen in the future? I think that some of these things will happen again in the future and everything will come together and fill in the puzzle.

Great Expectations pages 1-55
Well here I am again blogging over a book and this time the book is a novel bt, Charles Dickens, Great Expectations. This book so far isn;t my favorite and it is a higher level read, but I think as the book progresses i will get used to it and be more interested in it.
In the first few pages that we have read for this week we find out that Pip is somewhat of a theif and steals from his own home to give to a guy he met in the graveyard. Eventually when they have a family gathering eveyone starts to catch on that things are missing. Wwhen the soldiers came to his place that gather Joe and Pip and they go out to the graveyard with the soldiers and go and capture the thiefs that luve out there.
Later on Pip goes to Miss Havishson's house to go and play and he finds out that her place is really creepy and that she hasn't seen day light since she was born. To me she is a little strange and kind of creepy in a way.
Well so far this book isn't coming to me, but hopefully later on in the story it will.
